The 285-Series panel mount circuit breaker provides medium-duty circuit protection and switching for DC systems up to 48 volts. It features a 3000A interrupt capacity, a yellow reset lever indicating the open condition, and a "Trip Free" design that prevents holding the breaker "ON" during fault conditions. Waterproof to IP67 (immersion to 1 meter for 30 minutes) and ignition protected to SAE J1171, it is ideal for marine and vehicle applications. Connections are at the back, and the breaker is assembled in Mexico by Cooper Bussmann (p/n 285060P).
