The 48/10000-140-100 MultiPlus-II integrates the features of both the MultiPlus and MultiGrid systems. It offers all the advantages of the MultiPlus, along with an external current transformer option that enables PowerControl and PowerAssist functionalities, optimizing self-consumption with external current sensing (up to 32A). Additionally, it incorporates the MultiGrid features, including built-in anti-islanding protection, and is compliant with an expanding list of country regulations.

Key Features of the MultiPlus-II 48/10000/140-100:

• PowerAssist: The MultiPlus-II safeguards against overloads from limited AC sources such as generators or shore power. It first reduces the battery charging rate to prevent overload, and if needed, it boosts the output from the generator or shore power by drawing energy from the battery to support the load.
• Energy Storage System (ESS): Serving as the core component of a Victron ESS, the MultiPlus-II allows seamless integration with MPPT Solar Chargers and Grid-tie PV Inverters, offering flexible energy storage and management solutions for off-grid or hybrid systems. • Uninterrupted AC Power (UPS function): The MultiPlus-II automatically activates the inverter in the event of grid failure or disconnection of shore/generator power, ensuring a smooth transition to backup power. The changeover is incredibly fast, happening in less than 20 milliseconds, preventing any disruption to connected devices, such as computers or sensitive electronics.
• Remote Monitoring and Control: With the integration of the Cerbo GX, the MultiPlus-II 48/10000 can be monitored and controlled remotely over the internet. Using the free VRM app and VRM portal, users can access their system from anywhere, via a phone, tablet, laptop, or PC. You can adjust settings, monitor performance, and even automate tasks, like starting a backup generator if needed. For direct access, the GX Touch, MFD, or VictronConnect app with Bluetooth capability can also be used.

This MultiPlus-II unit offers robust and flexible power management for energy storage systems, ensuring reliable power transfer, optimized energy use, and easy control over the system, whether locally or remotely.
