Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing your order. By placing an order, you agree to these terms, which apply to all orders for delivery within the UK. Your contract for supply is with Western Electrical (a division of Edmundson Electrical Ltd). Your statutory rights are not affected by any of these terms.

Our Commitment

Western Electrical is dedicated to supplying high-quality products to our customers. In line with established trade customs, Western Electrical’s liability for any item will not exceed the amount paid for it.

Our Contract with You

We strive to offer only products that we expect to have in stock and available for order. However, all items are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable, it will not be selectable on our website.

• Order Acceptance: Our acceptance of your order occurs when we email you to confirm it. At this point, a contract between you and us is formed.
• Order Rejection: If we are unable to accept your order, we will notify you and will not charge you for the product. This might be due to the product being out of stock, unexpected limits on our resources, a pricing or description error, or an inability to meet a delivery deadline you have specified.
• Order Number: We will assign an order number to your order and provide it to you when we confirm your order. Please reference this order number whenever you contact us regarding your order.

Payment

At Western Electrical, we accept most major credit and debit cards, though we currently do not accept American Express. If you wish to pay by cheque, please post your order to us. Note that your account will be debited, or the cheque will be cashed, upon receipt of your order.

• Payment Authorisation: If your card issuer or bank refuses to authorise payment, we will contact you for further instructions. We will not be liable for any resulting delay or non-delivery.
• Billing Information: Ensure that your billing address information matches exactly what appears on your card statement.
• Payment Processing: Our payment process is handled by WorldPay, a global leader in payment processing technology, ensuring our customers a secure and straightforward way to pay. Our relationship with WorldPay helps us maintain full PCI/DSS compliance.
• 3D Secure: Where necessary, you will be asked to input your unique password/pin to comply with the 3D Secure process used by your card issuer, such as Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode.

Prices

Prices displayed on our website are current and reflect the latest prices for all products. However, prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

• Price Errors: If a product has been incorrectly priced, we will not be obligated to supply it at the inaccurate price. In such cases, we will notify you of the correct price and ask you to confirm or decline your order for the product in question.
• VAT: Prices on this website include VAT where applicable.
