Blue Sea 7042B-BSS Series 187 Circuit Breaker 80A

The 187-Series panel mount circuit breakers from Blue Sea Systems combine switching and circuit protection in one device. With an IP66 rating and ignition-protected design, they are safe for marine environments, including areas with fuel on boats and vehicles.

These breakers feature manual trip and reset functions, allowing them to switch or isolate circuits as needed. Operated by a single lever, the design is intuitive and easy to use. The “trip-free” feature ensures the circuit cannot be kept “ON” after a trip.

With ratings ranging from 25-200A and a 5000A interrupt capacity (@14V), these breakers are ideal for applications involving medium to high current draws. Note: They are not suitable for use as a switch in high inrush current situations.

Designed for panel mounting, they can be mounted either on the front or behind a panel. Cable connections are made via M8 studs on the rear, with ample clearance for heavy gauge copper tube terminals.
