About The Classic Style Horn Switch
The plastic ‘bakelite’ classical style horn switch is diamond shaped and originally fitted onto steering columns via a stalk. Engineers affectionately refer to the switch as a ‘Pontefract switch’ due to the shape and similarity to the old style Pontefract cake sweets.
The switch is reliable in function and easy to operate and locate when used as a horn switch.
