Description
Scanstrut DS21B-P-BLK waterproof deck seal for routing electrical cables. This black cable gland is made from UV stable glass filled nylon and has an attractive dome shaped design to provide a strong outer shell. This dome also provides an extra shield from water, although the watertightness of the gland comes from a tapered bung and a closed cell base seal.
This deck seal is easy to install, with no need to remove cable connectors. The gland is supplied with both pre-drilled and blank inner seals and also includes captive nuts to allow easy assembly and reliable repeat installations.
The Scanstrut DS21B-P-BLK Small deck seal features a vertical cable entry and is suitable for electrical cables between 9mm and 14mm diameter.
IP68 vertical entry cable seal
For cables from 9-14mm (0.35″-0.55″), connectors up to Ø21mm (0.83″) an aesthetic dome-shaped profile provides a stronger, impact-resistant design and captive nuts in the base make for an easy assembly.
Watertight Installation
Tapered bung forms a watertight seal. All units are supplied with a closed-cell base seal – 100% waterproof. All models have been IP68 tested and approved.
