The Quattro 48/8000/110-100 combines the functions of an inverter and charger, offering advanced features similar to the MultiPlus. In addition, it supports two AC inputs, allowing automatic switching between power sources, such as shore power and generators. It incorporates a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology, and various system integration options, including parallel operation, and three-phase or split-phase configurations.
Key Features of the Quattro 48/8000/110-100
- Dual AC Inputs & Outputs:
The Quattro can connect to two separate AC sources, such as shore power and a generator, or two generators. It automatically detects and connects to the active source, ensuring a seamless power supply. In case of grid failure or disconnection of shore or generator power, the inverter switches to supply power to the connected loads in less than 20 milliseconds, preventing any disruption to sensitive equipment. Additionally, a second AC output is activated when AC is available from one of the inputs, making it ideal for connecting non-essential loads like air conditioners or water heaters, which should not drain the battery. - PowerAssist Technology:
The Quattro features a unique PowerAssist function, which prevents the overload of limited AC sources, such as a generator or shore power. If the system detects potential overload, it automatically reduces battery charging. In case of further strain, it uses stored battery power to assist the AC source by boosting output, ensuring uninterrupted operation. - Parallel & Multi-phase Operation:
The Quattro offers exceptional scalability, allowing up to 6 units to be connected in parallel, providing significantly higher power output. It also supports both three-phase and split-phase configurations, making it adaptable to large power systems or complex setups. - Remote Monitoring and Control:
By pairing the Quattro with a GX device, such as the Cerbo GX, users can remotely monitor and control their system. The system can be accessed via the Victron Remote Management (VRM) app or portal, which provides full control through a phone, tablet, laptop, or PC. The system allows for adjusting Quattro settings, monitoring performance, and even automating tasks such as generator startup. Bluetooth functionality ensures direct access via the VictronConnect app, providing a seamless connection to the system.
This combination of features makes the Quattro 48/8000/110-100 a versatile and powerful solution for boat owners and off-grid users, offering flexibility, ease of use, and complete system integration capabilities.
