The controller can even revive deeply discharged batteries, functioning with a voltage as low as 0 volts, as long as the cells are not damaged or permanently sulphated.

Ultra-Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT)
MPPT technology continuously monitors your solar panels’ voltage and current output, optimizing the energy harvested and ensuring maximum efficiency, especially under changing light conditions or partial cloud cover. This advanced tracking ensures every bit of available power is captured.

Remote Monitoring and Control
The SmartSolar MPPT charger comes with built-in Bluetooth, enabling remote monitoring and control through the VictronConnect app. If your installation is connected to a GX device and the internet, the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal allows full access to your MPPT anytime, anywhere. The VRM and VictronConnect apps are free to use. In remote areas with no internet, you can monitor your system using the optional GlobalLink 520.

Load Output Protection & Battery Life Maintenance
The load output function protects your batteries by preventing them from being drained to dangerously low levels. The system allows you to set a disconnect voltage, ensuring your batteries are not over-discharged. Additionally, SmartSolar attempts a full recharge every day, and in case of poor weather, it gradually raises the disconnect voltage until a full recharge is achieved. This “BatteryLife” feature helps extend battery life and ensures that your system stays in optimal condition.
