At Marine Electricals, we are committed to ensuring that our customers are fully satisfied with their purchases. However, we understand that there may be times when you need to return a product. Below, you will find our detailed returns policy to guide you through the process.

Returns & Refunds Policy

We strive to provide high-quality products that meet your expectations. However, if for any reason you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we offer a straightforward returns process:

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Timeframe: You may return any item within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange, excluding the original carriage costs.
  • Condition of Goods: To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original condition, unused, with all security seals intact, and in the original packaging. The packaging itself should be undamaged and in a saleable condition.

2. Damaged Goods

  • Inspection on Arrival: We take great care in packaging our products securely. However, if your order arrives damaged, it is crucial that you inspect the items immediately upon receipt. Any damages incurred during shipping must be reported to us within 14 days of delivery.
  • Reporting Damage: If you notice any damage to the goods, please contact our customer service team at Marine Electricals as soon as possible. We will guide you through the next steps to ensure the situation is resolved swiftly and satisfactorily.

3. Unwanted Goods

  • Change of Mind: If you decide that you no longer require the goods after they have been delivered, please contact us promptly. We will issue you with a returns order number (RMA) that must be quoted on all correspondence and clearly marked on the outside packaging of the item being returned.
  • Refund Process: Once we receive the returned goods and verify their condition, we will process your refund within 5 working days. Please note that refunds are only issued to the original purchaser of the goods, and the refund will exclude the original carriage costs.
  • Return Postage: The cost of return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the goods are faulty. In cases where the goods are faulty, we will also refund the return postage costs.

4. Return Shipping Recommendations

  • Insurance: We strongly recommend that you fully insure any items you return. This will protect you in the event that the return package is lost or damaged in transit.
  • Proof of Delivery: To ensure the safe return of your items, we suggest using a carrier service that can provide proof of delivery. This will allow you to track the return and confirm that it has reached us.
  • Packaging: Please ensure that all returned items are securely packaged. Proper packaging helps prevent damage during transit and ensures that the goods arrive in a saleable condition.
